Truffles Brasserie in Bruton are delighted to have French accordionist Jacques Pellarin and his wife Corinne perform for their customers at a classic five-course French dinner on Wednesday 12 November.
Acclaimed artists,Jacques and Corinne have produced eight albums and several world tours to bring the unique sounds of French classic Café songs to appreciative audiences. Jac and Co are on a UK tour called ‘The Paris Café’ this November.
Owner of Truffles, Richard Sorapure, said “ We are thrilled to be the first restaurant in the south west to have booked Jacques & Co. As a French brasserie in Somerset this is a natural matching for us to achieve a complete experience with our French cuisine matched by great French popular music from such a talented duo as Jacques Pellarin on accordion accompanied by the beautiful vocals of Corinne.” French magazine Le Progrès said: “They bring back almost a century of the traditional French ‘chanson’ songs like Edith Piaf, Yves Montand and Francis Lemarque.
