Bruton Museum casespace - Re-imagining the Landscape - Amanda Bee

For March 2014, *Bruton Museum Casespace* will be exhibiting _Re-imagining the Landscape_ by artist Amanda Bee.

Amanda Bee is focused on mixed media with still life as a subject. "I have become really interested in mono type prints and this technique has become the starting point of my work. I then work up the prints with collage, watercolour, pencils and oil pastels. I find this approach really inspiring as I enjoy the spontaneity and thrill of never quite knowing how the print will turn out. I am also exploring using a limited palette which I find challenging in a good way! I think I am most interested in strong composition, complimentary, strong or unusual colour combinations and line".

*Private View*: Saturday 1 March 12 noon

Exhibition Saturday 1 – Friday 29 March 2014 The museum is open weekdays: 11am - 1pm Saturday: 11am - 3pm

*Location*: 26 High Street, Bruton, Somerset, BA10 0AA
