There’s a folk music treat coming your way this Thursday 21st May, as Truffles will be hosting No Fixed Abode, a talented singer/song writing team of Una Walsh from Louth, Ireland and Tony Dean of Manchester.

At the Chapel will be screening an emotionally open and honest film portraying the biggest boy band ever, The Backstreet Boys Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of. The film takes us through the highs and lows from boyhood to manhood that led them back into a London studio in 2012 to write a new album, make a film and plan their 20th anniversary re-launch.

Something was hovering mysteriously in the night sky at the Bruton Spiral of Light 2015. As visitors gathered and enjoyed the fantastic fireworks display put on by Euphoria Pyrotechnics, high tech aerial quadcopters were capturing the spectacle on high resolution cameras.

It’s that time of year again! To cheer everyone up at this dark and dismal time of year, a spiral of flares will once more be lit around the Dovecote Hill in Bruton on Saturday 7th February 2015 to celebrate Candlemas in the town’s Spiral of Light Festival. The ancient landmark will be visible from all over Bruton as the hill on which it stands is covered with flares.
